On this 1 day trip, we will visit Ourika Valley, where you will be able to visit a traditional Berber house to have a mint tea with the locals, take a guided hike to the wonderful waterfalls in Setti Fatma and enjoy a hike in the village through the sumptuous Ourika valley, carved into the Atlas’ foothills. You will have lunch in one of the traditional Restaurants in front of the river and you will visit a woman’s cooperative producing Argan oil.

Tour Plan
Day 1
After breakfast in your accommodation, at 09:00 AM, you will discover the delights of the Ourika Valley in Morocco’s Atlas Mountains on one day trip from Marrakech. Ourika, carved out by rain washing down from the High Atlas mountains is now a fertile area where fruit and nut trees grow. Following the course of the Ourika River, you can admire the magnificent landscape of the High Atlas, totally different from that of Marrakech, and browse the scenery and breathtaking High Atlas. You will see white-capped peaks tower over the valley, and traditional villages nestled on the hillsides. Along the way, you will visit a traditional Berber house to enjoy a mint tea with the locals and know about their old and simple lifestyle. You may have the opportunity to visit the weekly Berber market only on Monday or Thursday. Your guide will take you to discover the wonderful panoramas of the waterfalls in Setti Fatma and enjoy a hike in the village through the sumptuous Ourika valley carved into the Atlas’ foothills. You will pass by an old small footbridge full of charm for lunch in one of the traditional Restaurants in front of the river. On our way back to Marrakech we will make a last visit to a woman’s cooperative producing Argan oil. We will return to Marrakech and end our services.

- If you are interested to book Morocco Tours with us, we would raise a detailed itinerary with payment details.
- In order to book your any quoted tour, we require a deposit of 20% of the total amount. Balance can be paid upon the beginning of the tour.
You can pay the deposit via PayPal, Western union or bank transfer. The balance can be paid by cash in Euros or US Dollars, PayPal or Credit card in Mad adding 5% for the bank commission.
PRICING INFO
- Your Private Morocco Tours includes transportation via an air-conditioned 4×4 Toyota Land Cruiser, all fuel expenses, and the services of your local driver/guide.
The cost will vary based on the following factors:
- The total number of the guest – the more of you traveling, the cheaper the tour gets as you are sharing the cost of 4×4-wheel car & fuel & driver (friends, family and loved ones).
- The number of days.
- Most of the hotels and riads, we recommend are 4* hotels; however, luxurious accommodations 5* are also available. In the desert we recommend special luxury tents with private bathrooms.
- The activities you may choose: camel trekking, sand boarding, quad & buggies riding, horses riding, air ballooning, etc.
- Adult & Child prices are available. Children under 10 years old can have a discount.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Full refund of your deposit will be available, if due to an emergency you cancel 30 or more days prior to the arrival date.
If you cancel between 30 and 14 days prior to the arrival date, we will keep the deposit.
If you cancel 14 days or less prior to the arrival date, we will require the full amount.
