Day 1
After breakfast at 08:00, we start our 1 Day trip to Azrou from Fez. The market town of Azrou is located at a strategic crossroads of the N13 and N8 roads towards the northern end of the Middle Atlas. The N13 road connects Azrou to Meknes in the northwest and Midelt in the southeast. The National Route N8 comes from Fez in the northeast and continues to Khenifra and then Marrakech in the southwest. Azrou is at an altitude of 1250 m and is surrounded by mountains covered with evergreen holm oak and cedar. The Cèdre Gouraud Forest is located to the southeast, where one of the sub-populations of the Barbary macaque, Macaca Sylvanus (called magots) was found. In addition to its rich biodiversity symbolized by the famous cedar forest, there are butterflies that are unique in the world. The surroundings of Azrou are a center of attraction for the residents, hikers, and picnickers of the large neighboring towns. These surroundings are also home to the ‘Cedre Gouraud’ or ‘Grand Cedar’, a famous tourist attraction. This place is also famous due to the macaque apes that live in the area and are drawn by tourist activity. Moreover, the Azrou forest provides excellent hiking and exercising environment and also holds several summer camps for children. Azrou urban construction is in the European style (red tile roofs).
The region is also known for its cherry trees, apple trees, fish farms, and the abandoned sanatorium in the surrounding metropolitan area of Ben Smim. In the afternoon we drive back to Fez, where our 1 Day trip to Azrou from Fez ends.

- In order to book your any quoted tour, we require a deposit of 20% of the total amount. Balance can be paid upon the beginning of the tour.
You can pay the deposit via PayPal, Western union or bank transfer. The balance can be paid by cash in Euros or US Dollars, PayPal or Credit card in Mad adding 5% for the bank commission.
PRICING INFO
- Your Private Morocco Tours includes transportation via an air-conditioned 4×4 Toyota Land Cruiser, all fuel expenses, and the services of your local driver/guide.
The cost will vary based on the following factors:
- The total number of the guest – the more of you traveling, the cheaper the tour gets as you are sharing the cost of 4×4-wheel car & fuel & driver (friends, family and loved ones).
- The number of days.
- Most of the hotels and riads, we recommend are 4* hotels; however, luxurious accommodations 5* are also available. In the desert we recommend special luxury tents with private bathrooms.
- The activities you may choose: camel trekking, sand boarding, quad & buggies riding, horses riding, air ballooning, etc.
- Adult & Child prices are available. Children under 10 years old can have a discount.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Full refund of your deposit will be available, if due to an emergency you cancel 30 or more days prior to the arrival date.
If you cancel between 30 and 14 days prior to the arrival date, we will keep the deposit.
If you cancel 14 days or less prior to the arrival date, we will require the full amount.
